Sometimes, it takes the biggest of changes in life to blow us out of our concealed and safe bubbles, in which we live (sometimes till our end), to gain real perspective. Tragedy, truly can and often does lead to better places, perhaps not in a mental manner, but in some higher spiritual way. Perspective is like a building; One can stand inside and see the inner workings, small insignificant things, that when up close look important. Then take a step through the door, imagine you’re a petrified agoraphobic and you’ve been shoved through that door because of some traumatic event! You are outside, in a cold and bitter place, where the streets litter your mind, and thoughts litter your soul and the sound of pain dances on the brink of your insanity. Gently pirouetting, teetering, pushing your nerve to the balcony overlooking oblivion, at this point your mind gains further perspective.
